Appartement Moosmann
Holiday apartments in Mellau.
Three holiday apartments, one minute’s walk to the ski bus. Old beams, new bathrooms, ten beds — and everything on the doorstep, in winter and in summer alike.

Two seasons,
one house.
Three apartments and a single room in our house in Übermellen — family-run, renovated by ourselves, and open in both seasons.
In winter the ski bus stop is one minute’s walk away, the cross-country trail and a winter walking trail start right opposite, and the natural toboggan run is near the village centre. In summer hikes and bike rides start at the front door, and from three nights you receive the Bregenzerwald Guest Card free of charge.
Supermarket, café, restaurant, bike hire and the bus stop are a few minutes’ walk away. You can get along perfectly well here without a car.
Winter season: early December to early April · Ski bus at the door, 109 km of pistes beyond
Summer season: early May to the end of October · Walks from the front door, Guest Card included

Come in to the
Stube.
Breakfast is served here, this is where you thaw out after a day on the slopes — and where legendary Käsknöpfle evenings happen.
- Shared common room in a traditional Stube
- Lockable ski room for skis, snowboards and boots
- Garage for bicycles and motorbikes
- Four free parking spaces right by the house
Pictures from the house
Timber more than 200 years old, restored and built back in, new bathrooms — and the Stube, where everyone can get together in the evening.

„Meor ehrod das Ault, und grüssed das Nü.“
We honour the old and greet the new.
A saying that describes rather well how we go about things: whatever has held up for more than 200 years was restored and built back in — beams, boards, doors. And the bathrooms are as new as bathrooms ought to be.

Reviews: what guests say
very clean and well-equipped apartment with a ski room in the house, great location in a quiet village, parking and the ski bus stop right in front of the house
Very friendly hosts, nice conversations, very, very dog-friendly, everything newly renovated. Great view of the Kanisfluh. Very nice bathroom, everything we needed in the kitchen. We were warmly welcomed with apples, sweets and fresh flowers. We slept wonderfully, felt very much at home, went on lovely outings and had a really good rest!
We had a wonderful view of the Kanisfluh! Everything you need in the apartment! Very kind host, and everything had been lovingly prepared, even with homemade jam!! We'll gladly come back.
Super friendly hosts, a top apartment and a beautiful garden.

Something is already on the table.
Apples, homemade jam and a homemade egg liqueur — it’s not a concept, it’s just how we do things.
Whatever the garden and the kitchen have to offer ends up on the table when you arrive. If you stay longer, there is more where that came from. And if you want to know how the egg liqueur is made, ask Sonja — she loves to tell.
