The Bregenzerwald Guest Card
Stay three nights or more and you receive it from us free of charge. Mountain lifts, swimming pools and all public transport in the Bregenzerwald are included.

What it covers
From three nights you receive the card free of charge from us — handed over on arrival.
- The region’s mountain lifts — as often as you like, on the participating lifts. Up by lift and down on foot, or the other way round.
- Public transport — the regional bus (Landbus) throughout the Bregenzerwald. It takes you to every starting point without a car.
- Swimming pools — the region’s outdoor pools and bathing lakes.
- Other facilities — depending on the season, museums and leisure facilities are added.

The condition: at least three nights between 1 May and 31 October. For shorter stays and in winter there is no card — instead, the ski bus is free for our guests in winter.
About the Guest Card
Do I have to order the card separately?
No. We issue it on arrival, as long as the requirement of three nights is met. You don’t need to prepare anything.
Is it valid for children?
Yes, children receive the card too. For the individual services, the providers’ own age limits apply.
What about the tourist tax?
Those are two different things. The tourist tax of €3.00 per person and night from age 13 is a statutory levy paid to the municipality and is charged in addition. You receive the Guest Card free of charge regardless.
And in winter?
There is no Bregenzerwald Guest Card in winter. Instead, the ski bus is free for our guests, and it stops one minute’s walk from the house — more on the page about skiing in Mellau-Damüls.
