groups and families.

Three apartments, a single room and a shared Stube, our traditional parlour — all under one roof. If you are travelling as a group, you don’t book a hotel here, you book a house.

Why together

Everyone under one roof, each with their own door

That is the difference from a hotel, and from a single large holiday apartment too: each family has its own apartment with its own bathroom and its own kitchen — and yet everyone lives under one roof. The children run back and forth, and in the evening the adults decide whether to sit together in the Stube or not.

The house is booked as a whole. Then the shared spaces are yours alone as well: the Stube with its old stove, the garden with the barbecue, the ski room, the garage for bicycles and motorbikes, and the four parking spaces in front of the house.

Layout

Layout: who sleeps where

Four units with up to 10 beds in total. Kanisfluh, Hangspitz and the single room are on the top floor, the Mittagsspitze Apartment on the ground floor. You can divide the apartments up however you like — we are happy to tell you which combination works for your group.

The units in the houseKanisfluh, Hangspitz and the Gopf Single Room are on the top floor and can only be reached by stairs; the Mittagsspitze Apartment is on the ground floor.

Gopf Single Room 1 approx. 12 m² Single bed 120 × 200 cm

The Gopf Single Room is the buffer: it comes in when your group is one person larger than the apartments hold — for the grandmother who would rather sleep on her own, say, or the group leader who has to set off early.

In total we let at most ten beds at once. How you divide them between the apartments is up to you.

Who it’s for

Who comes here together

Several families

Two or three families who are friends, each in their own apartment. We provide a baby cot and high chair free of charge, and in the evening the Stube becomes everyone’s living room.

Clubs and groups

Ski clubs, hiking groups, motorbike tours: skis and boards go in the lockable ski room, bicycles and motorbikes in the garage, and the ski bus stops one minute’s walk away.

Family celebrations

Milestone birthdays, family reunions across the generations. On request we cook an evening of Käsknöpfle, the Bregenzerwald cheese spätzle, with Kaiserschmarrn, a shredded pancake — or fire up the barbecue in the garden.

What it costs

Price for the whole house

We charge per apartment and night — not per head. For a group, that usually works out cheaper.

Example for the three apartmentsStarting prices per night, plus final cleaning and tourist tax. Higher rates apply during the Christmas holidays and over Easter.

For whole-house bookings we quote an overall price. Write and tell us how many of you there are and how you would like to split up — you’ll get a single quote covering everything, including final cleaning, tourist tax and any breakfast or dinner you add.

Minimum stay: two nights in low season. During the Christmas holidays, the February school holidays and over Easter, usually seven nights with Saturday arrival. For groups in particular these weeks go early — ask in good time.
